most problems with 8 track players are mechanically related. we are experts at solving these issues, cleaning and rebuilding your deck to excellent working specification. we are not, however, certified for electronics repair. so some issues dealing with small components on the circuit board are beyond our ability, in-house. if this is the case, we are connected with a couple of repair technicians and can send your deck to them. we'll let you know before we do, to make sure it's ok. or if you'd like, you can trade your deck in for credit toward one of ours that's fully functioning. we are quickly learning about solving these types of electronics problems, though, and hope to include them in the near future.
